Last month, Disappears brought their reverb rock to the Coach House Sounds basement, resulting in one of my favorite sets to date. Though the slow burning approach to the Velvet Underground isn’t necessarily a new idea, Brian Case’s single syllabic vocal stylings definitely offsets the heard this before feeling. And because there are no close ups on the bass player, I’m forced to go on believing it’s Carson Daly. Enjoy.
